About Our TeamTogether for Christian Life Centre
Lead Pastor, Christian Life Centre | email@example.com | ext. 201
Having pastored in various roles for 20 years, including planting a church in Cambridge, Ontario, for seven years, Sam came to Christian Life Centre (CLC) in the fall of 2010 to be the lead pastor. He loves the vibrant, multicultural setting here, and is excited to help CLC become the church God intended her to be. He believes that the church is at her best when she is authentic, relevant, passionate and Christ-centred, and so that’s the way Sam leads CLC.
He has been married to the love of his life, Sue, since 1991, and has two amazing children, Megan and Cameron. He is so proud and blessed to call them family. He loves travelling, woodworking and golf, pretty much in that order, and believes wholeheartedly in the following quote:“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow! What a ride!’” HUNTER S. THOMPSON
Associate Pastor, Worship and Young Adults | firstname.lastname@example.org | ext. 203
Andrew was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. From a young age he felt the call of God on his life for Christian ministry. He attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (now known as Master’s College and Seminary), where he completed a bachelor of theology degree. He has pastored in a couple of churches in the GTA (for 18 years), prior to joining the CLC pastoral staff. Andrew is a big sports fan (especially the NY Giants) and enjoys playing sports as well! He is most passionate about worship, and seeing people come together to worship God with one voice and sound. Andrew and his beautiful wife, Laura, have three school-aged children named Ethan, Elijah and Hannah. His family is his pride and joy!
Children’s Ministries Pastor | email@example.com | ext. 208
Maria is happily married to her first and only boyfriend, Matthew. Together they have been blessed with three energetic kids, Elizabeth, Max and Pia. Maria enjoys reading, visiting the library, evening walks with her kids, and finding treasures at the VV Boutique! Her ultimate happy place is at the beach looking for dolphins and seashells.
Maria’s training includes Master’s College and Seminary as well as chaplaincy training at Lake Ridge Oshawa Hospital. Maria loves the local church and its role in the community. She agrees with Andy Stanley when he says, “Jesus is the hope of the world and the local church is the vehicle of expressing that hope to the world.” Maria is thankful for the opportunity to be part of the team at CLC and thoroughly enjoys working alongside people to serve the church and the community of Ajax.

Administration | email@example.com | ext. 20
Joanne was born in Montreal and moved to Toronto in her late teens. She and her husband, Barton, have one adult son, Kyle. She loves to travel (but still has many places left on her bucket list to see), read (favourite book and movie is Pride and Prejudice), her dog, and just spending time at home with her family.
Joanne has been our Administrator for over 25 years. She looks after the finances, administrative duties and rentals. If she doesn’t know the answer, she will find someone who does.
Seniors and Custodial | firstname.lastname@example.org | ext. 207
Donnie has attended Christian Life Centre since the start of our church. He was one of the children in our first Sunday school class. Donnie is our custodian and minister to Seniors. He keeps our church looking “spic and span” and has a way of making everyone he meets feel at home and welcome. He and his wife, Lottie, have entered their retirement years but Don hasn’t been able to retire just yet. They have one son, Colin.
Ron van der Cruysen
Ron van der Cruysen and his daughter, Kristina, have been attending CLC since 2007. He has taken good care of our facilities since 2012, doing all sorts of odd jobs around here, and he also assists Donnie with the seniors program. He has a keen eye, an analytical mind and a great work ethic. We are so glad he is a part of our staff.
